- The single-seater, open-cockpit chassis features a ground-effect underbody, wings and a super-strong carbon-fiber monocoque.
- Power comes from a 3.5-litre normally aspirated Honda Racing Indy V-8. The high-tech, 32-valve, dual-overhead cam engine is limited to 10,300rpm, develops around 650 horsepower and runs on ethanol fuel.
- All IZOD IndyCars race on Firestone Firehawk tires.
